The dissolving communities of the Rimetea and Inlăceni settlements are not able to support the effort needed to conserve the rural architectural values they own, and these edifices are not officially listed as historic buildings. Seen this, the Local Council of the 5^th Sector in Budapest – at the suggestion of counsellor dr. András ROMÁN – decided in 1996 to provide an annual financial support in order to preserve the rural architectural of the two settlements. The Heritage conservation programme Rimetea-Inlăceni includes activities such as the conservation and maintenance donation, the rehabilitation, inventorying and research donation, architectural surveys, design, reports, buying and rehabilitation of houses. This publication has an informational purpose and intends to draw the attention on this of heritage rescue.
