This book is a revised and completed edition of the Illustrated Dictionary of Historic Load-bearing Structures from 2005. The publication is mainly a course support which includes the author's materials presented during the Postgraduate Studies on built heritage rehabilitation. The book addresses students from art history, architecture or engineering, as well as everyone taking these specialising courses. The publication includes terminology and definitions in four languages (Romanian, English, Hungarian and German) on the purpose of allowing the specialists in built heritage and historic load-bearing structures to better understand the specific terms.
