The volume includes a selection of lectures presented during the 14^th edition of the Conference Series on Theoretical and Practical Issues on Built Heritage Conservation – TUSNAD, held in Rimetea and Colţeşti, on the topic The vernacular and the multicultural dialogue. The lectures and the discussions were centred around the complex problem of the protection vernacular architecture and the vernacular heritage values, being presented questions and solutions connected to their inventorying, research, conservations works and rehabilitation programmes.
