The first issue of the Transsylvania Nostra Journal from 2013 continues the series dedicated to the Transylvanian historical gardens and starts also a new heading which presents historic roof structures in Europe. Moreover, the journal contains an article about the conservation of the Communal Hall in Aita Mare, Covasna County and we can enjoy also the presentation of the research and the restoration works of the mural paintings in the Calvinist Church in Mugeni, during the conservation works. At last but not at least we can read about the importance of the framework convention of the Council of Europe on the Value of Cultural Heritage for Society.
