Issue 3/2011 of the journal continues the previous issue's topic of Fortresses Once Again in Use with a new selection of lectures sent by the conference participants. The first article presents the 19^th century fortification system of the “Bucureşti Fortress”, followed by a paper on the conservation history of Hunedoara Castle and by a study presenting the relationship between the evolution and the regeneration perspectives of the Arad Fortress' historical area. Besides the mentioned articles, the third issue also contains a collection of papers presenting the research and conservation plan of the Károlyi Castle in Ardud. The last article describes the conservation and manner of presentation of Roman ruins in Hungary in the last few decades.
